This premium New Zealand pāua shell (NZ abalone) has been carefully selected for its size, vibrant colour, and natural beauty. The natural lime coating on the back has been ground away to a fine finish and coated with a clear lacquer, enhancing the shell’s signature iridescence. This process reveals the genuine blue-green shimmer and ocean-born texture that make pāua one of the most prized shells in the world.
With its lacquer finish it is ideal for display, gifting, or collecting - a meaningful piece that celebrates the natural beauty of New Zealand’s coastline.
