This tumbled pāua shell is hand-sorted from the outer rim of the shell and finished with a soft satin sheen that enhances the natural iridescence and rich colour of New Zealand pāua. No refinishing is needed unless a gloss finish is desired. Ideal for jewellery, mosaic art, inlay work, or decorative crafts, these medium-sized rim pieces range in size from approximately 40–80mm, each with its own organic shape and texture.
