This tumbled pāua shell is hand-sorted from the rim of the shell and finished with a soft satin sheen that enhances the natural colour and iridescence of New Zealand pāua. No additional finishing is required unless a gloss look is preferred. These small-sized rim pieces, ranging from approximately 20–40mm, are ideal for jewellery, inlay work, mosaics, and decorative craft applications. Each piece has its own organic shape and texture, created through the tumbling process.
