This premium New Zealand pāua shell (NZ abalone) has been carefully selected for its size, colour, and natural beauty. A portion of the natural lime-coated exterior has been finely ground away in a unique spiral pattern and coated with a clear lacquer, revealing the vibrant iridescence beneath while still showcasing part of the shell’s raw, ocean-worn surface. The result is a beautiful contrast between natural texture and polished brilliance.
