This Ocean Shell veneer features genuine New Zealand Pāua in its natural, uncoated form, composed of fine, randomly arranged pieces that create a striking galaxy effect of soft blues, greens, purples, and pinks. The flat sheet is approximately 0.3mm thick and presented raw – no surface coating or backing panel is applied. The random mosaic-like layout enhances the natural complexity and brilliance of the pāua shell. Using this product on a light or dark background will affect the finish due to its translucency.
This veneer is ideal for inlay, jewellery, marquetry, decorative accents, and fine surface applications where a richly iridescent, high-grade natural shell finish is desired. It is made from AAA grade New Zealand Pāua with no coatings or backing.
