This Ocean Shell veneer features genuine New Zealand Pāua in its natural, uncoated form, with a unique opal mix of silvery, peach, and multicoloured iridescent tones. The flat sheet is approximately 0.3mm thick and presented raw – no surface coating or backing panel is applied. The natural strip pattern enhances the opalescent play of colour, offering a refined, linear texture while retaining the organic brilliance of the shell. Using this product on a light or dark background will affect the finish due to its translucency.
This veneer is ideal for inlay, jewellery, marquetry, decorative accents, and fine surface applications where a warm, softly iridescent shell finish is desired. It is made from New Zealand Pāua with no coatings or backing.
